Block Type SAF Series

Timken SAF housings combine rugged cast iron or cast steel housings with high-capacity spherical roller bearings to meet the toughest demands of heavy-duty industry. The convenient split-housing design simplifies assembly and maintenance. Each housing incorporates an advanced spherical roller bearing design with improved raceway geometry and finish for maximum load capacity and service life. Timken manufactures housings in two main styles: SAF and SDAF. The larger SDAF block is recommended for extremely heavy-duty applications.

Size range: 1.37795 in. to 11.811 in., with special shaft sizes available up to 39.37 in. and larger.

Block Type SNT Series

Timken SNT plumb blocks feature a durable cast iron housing and robust sealing options to maintain lubrication and prevent contamination. Incorporate high-performance Timken® spherical roller bearings for a metric split-block housing unit that delivers performance in the most demanding environments.

Timken SNT plumb blocks are available in two- and four-bolt mounting configurations. The SNT line includes 200, 300, 500, and 600 series housings; the 3000 and 3100 series are available for larger sizes.

Shaft size range: 20mm to 380mm, cast steel and ductile iron housings available for heavy duty applications.

U-Series Supports and Insert Ball Bearings

Our line of standard and heavy-duty U-series ball bearing housing units includes set screw locking (UC 200 and UC 300), eccentric locking collar (UEL 200), and tapered bore for use with adapter sleeve locking series (UK 200), providing reliable Timken products available for the most popular applications.

Protect system performance and reduce costly wear with superior contamination protection. Multiple sealing and locking solutions, including eccentric and set screws, offer support for demanding applications. Set screw solutions incorporate Shaft Guard technology, which prevents screws from damaging the shaft.

Tapered Roller Bearing Housing Unit Type E​

Timken® Type E units incorporate industry-leading premium tapered roller bearings, high-performance seals, powder-coated housings, and powerful locking collars. These optimized features help optimize application reliability and performance in demanding operating environments, resulting in lower maintenance costs, optimized performance, and increased uptime.

Corrosion-Resistant Ball Bearing Housings

Units with corrosion-resistant ball bearing housings and food-grade lubricant contribute to improved food safety and productivity, while also providing increased reliability and corrosion protection. Timken offers a variety of wet and dry contaminants that dramatically extend bearing life.
